When watching television shows closely, after a while, you might start to be able to identify with the people that you see on screen and when you see a team that comes together to work on the wild machines that you see on a show like American Hot Rod, you’re really left to wonder where these guys end up after the show is off of the air. With so many talents to be had, when a show goes off the air or a shop separates, they aren’t just sitting around for the rest of their lives. Most of the people that you see on these shows continue to put their talents to work and sometimes, even step it up a notch!
This time, we check out a little throwback to see where Charley Hutton of American Hot Rod is now. This video from 2015 gives Hutton the opportunity to tell us what he’s been up to since the show that would have Boyd Coddington leading his group of guys to creating some of the wildest rides in the street, up until about a decade ago. Charley, as we know, was a master painter who could take a blank canvas and make it into a work of art and after American Hot Rod would go off of the air, he would get to it in order to extend his talent even further!
Check out the video down below as Hutton will give you the rundown on exactly what life has been like for him and where he’s been laying down his talent. SEMA is one of the best places to catch up with some of the biggest names in the business and this time, we get the beans spilled by one of the biggest names in the business who I think most car guys would love to have lay down some spray on their ride.
